I don't believe I am here to change the world... I believe I am here to experience myself and become the change I want to see in the world. One example could be the sun. It doesnt' ever force anyone to accept its light, but because it does shine, the whole world is full of light. That's what I want to do...Burn myself in the fire of love and truth, until I become a sun... I think love is what I am here to be, and what is my true essence...
Reiki:
Reiki is the modern name for an ancient spiritual path that existed in various civilizations in the world. It was rediscovered by Mikao Usui, in 19th centure. It's basically about connecting with and channeling the universal energy, the creative force from which all things come. I would also call it love. The more you let yourself experience the wonderful miracle of being love, the more you open to reiki.
Attunement is the means by which the channels are cleared and the inborn ability to channel reiki is expanded. The usui reiki system of healing traditionally has three of them. Reiki does not really split into levels. But its useful for educational reasons, because there's many new things introduced in each level.
Reiki uses symbols, which are like keys to access specific portions of the universal energy. But with time and practice, one goes beyond the symbols themselves, and into the realm of the true being.
The reiki principles:
Just for today:
Do not anger
Do not worryHonour your parents, elder and teachers
Earn your living honesty
Be grateful to every living thing
Yoga:
Yoga is a complete self realization science, originally developed in India, more than five thousand years ago. Its name literally means "to join" or "to unite" and its primal aim is to unite the individual conciousness with the cosmic conciousness. In the west, yoga is often thought to be just a physical exercise. However, the asanas (yoga postures) are only a small part of this science. It is a science of great flexibility and diversity. It includes techniques to clear and strengthen the body, to control the energy of the breath, to tame the mind and finally reach to the highest of human experiences, the realization of the Self.
